Wager Glossary

 

Straight Wagers

Win – You win if your horse finishes First.

Place – You win if your horse finishes First or Second.

Show – You win if your horse finishes First, Second, or Third.

 

Exotic Wagers

These wagers are more difficult to win than Straight Wagers and may require some advance handicapping. However, the potential payouts are significantly greater.

Daily Double – Pick the winners of two consecutive races. Wagers must be placed before the first of the two races.

Pick Three – Pick the winners of three consecutive races. Wagers must be placed before the first of the three races.

Exacta – Pick the first two horses in exact order of finish for a single race.

Trifecta – Pick the first three horses in exact order of finish for a single race, with eight or more betting interests.

Superfecta – Pick the first four horses in exact order of finish for a single race, with eight or more betting interests.

Pick Four – Pick the winners of four designated consecutive races. Wagers must be placed before the first of the four races.

Pick Five – Pick the winners of five designated consecutive races. Wagers must be placed before the first of the five races.

Pick Six – Pick the winners of six designated consecutive races. Wagers must be placed before the first of the six races. If no ticket has all six winners, a major portion of the pool carries over to the next racing day’s program.

Acceptable Forms of ID

Guests must have an acceptable form of identification in order to claim winnings and jackpots and create/inquire about their Winners’ Circle account with us. Accepted forms of ID are:

• Visa or Passport

• Driver’s License (Expired Driver’s Licenses not accepted)

• Social Security card*

• Voter Registration card*

• Military Identification

• Mexican Consular Identification card

• Tribal Member Identification card (Issued by federally recognized Indian Tribe)

• State, Local or Government Issued ID (Photo & Identifier must be included)

 

*Secondary Photo ID is required.

Problem Gambling

• Gambles to win back money lost through gambling.

Revolutionary Racing, LLC is committed to promoting responsible wagering by our patrons. Pursuant to 810 KAR 2:100, the KHRC has established a confidential Voluntary Self-Exclusion List.

If you are seeking help and wish to self-exclude, please request to speak with a Security Supervisor for additional information. Alternatively, you may call 844-SANDYS-1.

 

All personal information provided to the List will be kept confidential and shall not be disclosed except as necessary in accordance with KAR Titles 809 and 810 or as required by law.

 

Please be advised that the consequences of enrollment on the List include being prohibited from entering or wagering at Sandy’s Racing and Gaming.
